You’ve probably already heard about it. The Copenhagen Wheel, which can be mounted on any kind of bicycle and gives you a little boost when riding up those hills. The wheel saves the energy dissipated while cycling and braking, keeping it ready to use when you need a bit of a boost. It also comes with a lot of other gadgets - it collects various data from your trip and also works as a lock for your bike (super important stuff you know.…) I’d be fine with only that push for those big hills, but oh well!
The first prototype was presented in 2009 and is now in production! I would love to try one out, wouldn’t you? Perhaps somebody out there who’s already got theirs and could give a review?
